The west facing slope of the property, the proximity to the Petaluma Gap and San Francisco Bay bringing cool ocean breezes and the meticulous attention to farming by family members has led to this outstanding offering.
On the nose strawberry and blackberry blend together with mushroom, dust, coconut and vanilla. Once in the mouth, the bright fruits are the center of concentration with black tea and sweet tobacco adding depth. The finish is long with notes of chocolate and licorice. This well-rounded Pinot Noir is perfectly suited for ‘main-course’ duty, it’s bold flavors would work nicely with roasted fowl or chicken marsala.
